The Rappahannock Railroad Museum provides education to the public in regard to Railroads, railroad lines and related events in our area and the preservation of historical railroad equipment in the greater Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg area.
Map to the Museum's Equipment Visitors are welcome to tour our museum on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to Noon. From Mid march through October (and other Saturdays weather permitting), our visitors are welcomed aboard our maintenance of way train (Little Yellow Train) for a short rail excursion to not only learn but experience how the rail workers in the mid 1900's commuted to their work site. All train rides are subject to crew availability, weather, commercial rail activity, and other factors beyond our control.
The museum keeps its equipment at the Spotsylvania County Business Park off of U.S. Route 2/17: 11700 Main Street Fredericksburg, VA 22401
